9- Payroll

According to the Uruguayan legislation every Company who develops activities in Uruguay must register its employees (nationals or foreigners) before the Social Security Institution and pay the social security contributions.

For such purpose, the employees’ real remuneration must be informed, independently on the entity who actually pays the remuneration (it can be paid by the local entity or the foreign company).
